WHEN THERE’S SOMETHING MISSING

Have you ever had that feeling of emptiness where you just know that so much is missing and you have such a long way to go, but the emptiness inside of you is holding you back and time and again you go way back to all the good times you have had and try and feel the same feeling you felt in that very moment. In all those moments when you didn’t have that overwhelming cavern in your gut where something belongs.

And then, then you try to figure out what’s missing. For some its love. Whether its the love of someone who you belong with, love of family, of society , of people or even of yourself. Sometimes you’re missing “fun”. Everyone’s idea of fun varied but what’s fun? Its when you feel content and joyous and when you feel like you have had a good time! Sometimes you miss significance and importance when you feel like nothing in life is important or meaningful anymore. When everything is a joke or you couldn’t care less about everything that’s going on around you. And sometimes what you’re missing is ambition for the future. Where you don’t know what the future looks like. You don’t know where you want to go and you don’t know what kind of a person you want to be. But sometimes even when you have your whole life mapped out for yourself and you know exactly where life will take you, the wait and the chance of disappointment always hangs over you like a dark cloud waiting to shower down upon you.

But whenever you feel like there’s something missing, look at all the things that aren’t missing!
