Moments In Life: Everyone has pain.

Moments In Life: Everyone has pain.

It’s a part of what makes us human. We feel, and in feeling, we can hurt. It’s so easy to just sit in the pain. Let it consume us. Grief, pity, heartbreak, insecurity, lose, rage, depression. It’s so easy to just let it take control. We can cry until we pass out. We can yell until our voices give. We can hurt ourselves more, maybe thinking that it will somehow balance it all out. We can panic until we can barely breathe. But what good does that do really? If we let the pain consume us, what are we really accomplishing? I dare you all, to rise above your pain. Take a deep breath, and just let it go. It’s not going to be easy. In fact, it will probably be really really hard, but you can do it. Sometimes you won’t even be able to do it yourself. You may even need help from other people and that’s okay, you just have to believe in yourself.

You are the ultimate creator of your own destiny. You are the only one who can make yourself feel better. I dare you to let go of the pain and the suffering. Because if you can do that. If you can calm down after getting mad. If you can forgive after getting hurt. If you can love after getting your heart broken. If you can try to have a positive outlook. Then you will truly be happy. Everyone has pain. But what really counts is how you handle it. People say that life is short, but it’s not. Life is the longest thing that we do. It’s the only thing that we have. If you waste it away with letting yourself be consumed with the pain, you are not truly living. Have faith in yourself. It will get better, if you let it get better.

Have you ever wondered whether you’ve ever inspired someone to do something good? or inspired someone to make a change in their own lives or for that matter in anyone else’s lives. Everyone has something in them that’s truly good enough to inspire someone else. Whether it’s a simple thing like inspiration to start a blog, or something that can change the course of their lives such as inspiration to take life as it comes and truly believe that something means a lot more than the naked eye can see.

Its inspiration which can take us anywhere we want. Time and again I’ve been inspired, by pictures, by people, by books, by actions, and each and every time it changes me, an I’d always like to think that it does makes me a bigger and better person. I’ve always had a dream to inspire someone, to make a difference in someone’s life, to make someone value their lives so much more, to teach people how important it is to cherish every moment and love everyone who has ever helped you in any way. i aspire to inspire.

Truth is, it differs from person to person and inspiration can come from the unlikeliest of places. Whether it comes from a simple picture, or a song, or a person, or a story. no matter how small the medium, how small the beginning, the outcome and the true value of that inspiration in someone’s life, becomes so colossal that many people probably don’t instantly, even notice the change. But the best inspiration of all is that that changes you from within, and that is inspiration that only you yourself can feel.

So every day when you wake up, think for a second: Where do you get your inspiration from?

I would want to be famous

Honestly, I would want to be famous. Not for the money, the opportunities, or the media attention. When the world knows who you are, you have the ability to make things happen for others. Knowing you can have that effect on people is empowering. When you’re a role-model or idol, you have the power to make someone’s day by tweeting them back or following them.

You could grant a dying cancer patient’s wish just by spending a few minutes in their hospital room. You could give free concert passes/signed merchandise to a disabled child who looks up to you unconditionally …

You could give a free concert to soldiers far away from home. There’s so many lives you could change just by walking into a room, even though you know it’s just you.

Yeah there’s always hate and critics, but when you can make a difference like that, what else matters? When you make it big, you have the power and capability to change the world. So why not do it, then?

I would just love to have the chance to make such a widespread difference.

Writing – A Lost Art

Writing – A Lost Art

Writing on paper is becoming a lost art. Many nowadays choose to use computers to write and send letters. It seems like the most convenient means of sending and receiving messages. But what value does it hold? Another message in a folder full of read emails? What sentimental value does it have? Can you smell the scent of the writer’s ink; the emotions in the words and phrases – NO! A letter can tell many stories – the squiggly letters where the hands have trembled or the blurred words where the tears have dropped, where frantic writing exposes the writer’s excitement and the crossed out words that depict the writer’s true feelings.

The older the letter, the faded it is; becomes crumpled and dog-eared but memories remain vibrant. You can keep the letter under your pillow and read it at will without the hassle of locating it on the computer. The writer’s smell also lingers on the paper and it keeps one occupied for hours in the blissful memories that it brings. The emotions captured cannot be done so with an old email – words may carry weight but hand-writing never fails to leave an impression. It’s a lost practice and thus handwriting is now a thing of the past and tends to be more and more disfigured as the years pass and technology takes over.

All you get in your mailbox nowadays are your bills – the most off-putting thing of the month. But a letter written from a loved one truly lightens the mood and builds excitement. Either the news be a welcome or sad one, it still relays the true feelings of the writer. Though a rare occurrence, a letter does make a difference if it’s written by hand and ink.
